Botox Cosmetic

Botox is a purified protein that has been naturally created from the botulinum toxin. Botox is used to treat a variety of issues.

The most common use for Botox is to relax fine lines and wrinkles in the face. Botox can also be used to stop sweating in the armpits.

Botox can be used in the masseter muscles (chewing) to stop grinding the teeth while we sleep. Botox can also be used to stop migraine headaches. Botox typical lasts for 3-6 months and results may vary. Botox is injected with a very fine needle into the muscles that are going to be effected. Results are typically seen between 3-4 days, with a maximum result seen in 14 days.

Dermal Fillers

There are a variety of dermal fillers on the market. Dermal fillers are made up of different components. There are the most commonly used, which are hyaluronic acid fillers. Juvederm is an example of a hyaluronic acid filler and there are 5 types of Juvederm. Ultra, Ultra plus, Volbella, Vollure, and Voluma. Hyaluronic acid fillers can last between 6 months and up to 2 years.

Radiesse is another dermal filler, but it is not a hyaluronic acid. Radiesse is a calcium based filler and has a different feel and different indications. Radiesse can last up to 18 months. Bellafill is a dermal filler that is considered very long lasting, up to 5 years. Bellafill is made up of bovine collagen and an acrylic type substance called PMMA (polymethylmethacrylate). Bellafill may require skin testing.

Vampire Procedures

There are several Vampire procedures, such as the Vampire Facelift, Vampire Facial, P-Shot, and O-Shot. The Vampire procedures are performed with your own blood. Less than a tablespoon of blood is drawn from the client’s arm into specimen tubes. These tubes are then placed into a high speed centrifuge, where the blood is spun for 5 minutes to yield Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP).

Why do we do this?

PRP consists of 8 essential growth factors that will stimulate our stem cells to turn on and create new tissue, collagen and microvascular blood flow. When the PRP is isolated during the centrifuge process, they are compounded by 10 fold. The PRP is then activated  and injected into the areas to not only treat volume loss, but to soften the texture and brighten skin tone. The Vampire Facelift consists of injecting dermal fillers into the areas where volume is needed, followed by injecting the activated PRP into the same areas. Vampire Facial is performed by using the PRP topically on the skin and using a medical grade micro needling pen to infuse the PRP into the dermis.

The O-Shot is performed by injecting the PRP into the vagina and clitoris to stimulate orgasm, treat urinary incontinence, and dyspareunia (painful intercourse). The P-Shot is performed by injecting the PRP into the penis to enhance erection, better orgasm, quicker recovery time between erections and increased penis size.

Sclerotheapy

Sclerotheray is a procedure where a sclerosing agent, Asclera, is injected into the spider veins in the legs to permanently remove them. Typically 1-6 treatments are required and results may vary.

Chemical Peels

Medical grade chemical peels are performed with peeling agents that result in the removal of several outer layers of dead skin, resulting in bringing the new skin to the surface.

Micro Needling

Microneedling is a collagen induction procedure that uses a medical grade pen that has a tip with 9 very fine needles that can be used to provide overall skin rejuvenation, scar repair, softening fine lines and stretch marks. Hydrating serums and or PRP can be used to achieve beautiful results.

IPL and Skin Resurfacing Laser

Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) is used to perform photo facials. A photo facial will remove sunspots and red venous telangectasias on the face.

Skin resurfacing is used to remove the outer layers of dead skin cells and to stimulate the layer beneath (dermis) to grow new skin cells, thus providing rejuvenation, fine line removal and scar repair. These treatments can be used in conjunction with many of our other procedures.

Kybella

Kybella is a prescription medicine that is used to improve the appearance and profile of moderate to severe fat below the chin, also called “double chin.” Typical results are seen in 1-3 treatments and results may vary.
